The 1-1/2" Triclover (TC) medium solder flange is typically welded into a sidewall of a vessel where you need a port. If you're building a brewery based on the sanitary/triclover method of device attachment, you'll have these all over the place. The tube OD is 1.5", the flange measures 2", and the overall length is 7/8". We also offer this piece in a LONG version measuring 1.125" elsewhere on this site.
These are extremely high quality machined pieces in 304SS.
Despite the rampant misinformation circulating around the forums, a ripple style heating element, or at least the ones we sell here, will pass through this ferrule easily. You do NOT need 2" TC.
