This pair of fittings is what you'd use to mount a 1/2" OD HERMS coil into a kettle that only has TC ports with the flanges facing outward. You clamp the fittings into your ports, then use the compression nut to lock the coil into place. From inside the kettle or tank. Removing the coil requires loosening the compression nuts before the TC fittings can be unclamped.

THIS PRICE IS FOR A PAIR of fittings.

We give you the option of SS or nylon ferrules. Note that the nylon is easier to lock down with a moderate sized wrench while the SS ferrules will require locking the fitting into a bench vise and using a much larger wrench to swage the ferrules to your HERMS coil. There are no wrench flats on the fittings themselves.

Machined from 304SS. Note that there is no wrench flat on this size so you will need to clamp the TC flange firmly to a larger object when setting the SS ferrules. Nylon ferrules are soft enough to set just by holding the TC flange by hand.

Remember, 1.5" TC has an actual flange diameter of 2".
