This Pressure Relief Valve features a 1.5" TC flange (2" actual diameter on the flange). The large piston is much less likely to clog with krausen than the smaller threaded PRVs and is the safest way to vent excess pressure on fermentation tanks. The spring is sized to vent at 15psi when the top cap is fully tightened clockwise and flush to the top of the assembly. Venting pressure can be lowered by turning the top cap with a 3/8 drive ratchet counterclockwise. It is not yet determined what the lowest pressure is.
