All pumps are not equal! Spike engineers tested over 15 pumps during the development of this project and found almost all small submersible pumps on the market are grossly overrated. This can greatly affect your temperature control as flow rate is directly proportional to cooling efficiency.
To use:
- Simply plug our pump into our temp controller
- Connect your insulated lines to your temp control coil and to the pump outlet
- Submerse the pump in your cooler (with ice), fridge with cold water reservoir or glycol chiller
- Start cooling your wort!

We stock some Spike items at our NJ warehouse but most orders will be drop shipped directly from Spike. Assume additional lead times outside of our control unless you've called and we confirmed we have stock on a particular item. When you spend $130 on SPIKE items and they are the only thing on the order, you will get free shipping. Any non-Spike items on the order will incur normal shipping charges unless you meet the $299 free shipping threshold.
