This is for a half ounce of Harris Stay Brite #8 silver bearing solder with 6% silver content. The solder 1/16" diameter and about 3 feet long. If you are using it on stainless steel, you will need a suitable liquid acid flux that is specifically designated for stainless steel. We offer this same 1/2 ounce piece of solder along with a bottle flux elsewhere on this site.

PLEASE NOTE: the picture shows a random amount of solder and the coil you get will not look the same. Again, we sell this by weight. At this diameter, fully stretched out it measures approximately 37" long. Please do not complain that the coil of solder you received doesn't look like the picture because we're telling you that right here.

Stay brite is an excellent product for joining many ferrous and non ferrous metals. The only problem is the way it is usually sold. A 1 pound spool only makes sense if you do plumbing or hvac for a living. The small quantities sold here are perfect for small projects and I for one, am thankful.
