When using EVA barrier tubing or any other tubing, along with push fit fitting such as our Duotight line of fittings, inserting these security C-clips between the fitting and the locking collar provides a tighter grip on the tubing. They are not required to be used in order to seal, but for the price it's extra insurance especially if you expect the tubing to be fussed with often or if you ever run your pressures above 30psi.
