It's inevitable. People find out that you're decent at TIG welding stainless and everyone just has this really small weld job and "could ya just?" It's almost like people that ask musicians to come play at their wedding for free "for exposure". It's true that some weld jobs only take 5 minutes. You also have to pay for a very small portion of the $3000 welder and several years of practice that prevent the repair from being an even bigger gaping hole :-)

This labor charge is for a miscellaneous small welding project and is only to be added to your cart if I tell you to based on a previous conversation. Some/Most projects will likely be some increment of this charge. In other words, don't get the impression that everything can be welded for 10 bucks.

Well worth the money	December 16, 2021

This was the low point in an otherwise excellent build. There is a large gap around the inside of the bulkhead and the inside of the kettle. There is no issue with the integrity of the kettle, but there is a lot of surface that can't be cleaned. It's in contact with boiling wort so it shouldn't cause any major issues, but I would be much more comfortable if there was a filler or if it was flush.
