The back side of the fitting that cannot be seen the picture easily has 1/4" Female Flare (FFL) threads. The gasketed side is 19/32" -18 threads which will accommodate our ball lock posts with the same thread.

There is no "standard" or common use for this fitting but we like to offer options for the tinkerers and makers out there. One idea is to thread this fitting on to one of our Triclover to MFL adapter fittings and then thread on either the liquid or gas post to that enabling you to connect ball lock QDs to triclover ports on your tanks.

Another thing you can do is reverse the flare thread sex by adding our MFL to MFL coupling.

Don't forget the flare gasket.

This and a gas keg post were perfect additions to the gas side of my Blichmann BeerGun. Now I can just grab my extra gas line with a quick disconnect and I'm ready to go!

I made a portable cooler/kegerator for my corny keg. I needed to attach a gas post to it for a quick disconnect. This adapter worked great. I used a 1/4 inch male flare bulkhead and attached this to the 1/4 inch flare end. Then I was able to screw on a gas keg post to the other end, which I got from here also. Problem solved. Then I just snapped on my gas quick dis-connect and it worked great! Awesome unique fitting!
