9" Domed and perforated stainless steel false bottom with high flow elbow barb connector.

The barbed elbow connector we use to attach the false bottom to the bulkhead drain has an inside cross sectional area that is 400% larger than all of the competitor products out there. When domed false bottoms first came onto the market, it included an 90 degree elbow barb where the barb's inside diameter was only a quarter inch (6mm). Everyone just accepted it and suffered through stuck sparges eventually giving domed false bottoms a bad reputation.

Note: This item is just the 9" domed false bottom and the elbow barbed connection in the center. For planning purposes, make sure whatever bulkhead you have will allow for a piece of 1/2" ID silicone tubing as that's the only way to connect to our high flow false bottom. We recommend converting over to our True Bulkhead Barb (truebulkbarb) to make ultimate use of this high flow false bottom. Also keep in mind that we include this false bottom in our full cooler conversion kit as well as our completed cooler mash tun product.

This item will fit 5 gallon Igloo and Rubbermaid round coolers and any other flat bottom vessel measuring at least 9" Inside Diameter.
