This high quality carbonator cap fitting threads on to PET soda bottles up to the 2 liter sizes and is compatible with ball lock keg "grey" quick disconnects AND the black liquid disconnects if you have a need for that.

This version has a ball lock on one side and also a 1/4" STEM on the interior side allowing the use of a DUOTIGHT 1/4" push on fitting. Note that if you're trying to put a standard ball lock male QD on the end of some EVA barrier tubing, you'll also need the Duotight 1/4" (6.35mm) to 5/16" (8mm) adapter shown in the accessories to the right. This method of adding a ball lock to your line will hold pressure when the female QD is disconnected because the carbonator cap has a poppit valve.

We also have a simple version of this fitting that does NOT have the hose barb on the interior size.If you want to use a soda bottle as a growler to transport some of your kegged beer, squeeze out the air in the headspace and replace it with CO2 with some additional pressure to preserve perfect carbonation even if the bottle is only half full. It's also a great way to quickly carbonate some beer that has been bulk aging to see how it's coming along. While a soda bottle doesn't match fashion with the fancier growlers at the party, at least your beer will be fully carbed.
