Accessories and upgrades You can find BIAB false bottoms that fit this kettle here. Whirlpool style edge pickup will require a premium hex nipple and the edge pickup itself. To make this into an electric kettle, there are several options. For 15 gallon batches you absolutely need access to 240 volts. You can use the semi-permanent install of the 5500 watt threaded ripple and the Hot Pod EWL3 kit or one of the removable and cable disconnectable element kits. Regardless of the option selected, we offer install services for them all. For hardwired weldless elements, we can drill the hole and install the element and wire the cable in if desired. For the TC-based element installs, we can flare the kettle and TIG weld the TC port in.
One thing that is also often overlooked is that there are very few kettles that can be bottom drained. Since the bottom of this kettle is single layer stainless steel, we can install a TC port in the bottom for true clean in place.
READ THIS: Keep something in mind with these kettles. They are not the most perfectly polished specimens you'll find in the industry. When you compare the price, size and features against competitors like Spike and BrewBuilt, you'll understand why this kettle has a couple scratches here, a ding there. Maybe you'll see the weld line up the side because they didn't spend that extra time buffing it out. If you have no leeway with a few imperfections, please move on and get your wallet out for that higher end kettle. We will not replace a Brewmaster Kettle due to cosmetic imperfections.
