Connection options?
On the wort side, you have a few choices to get from typical 1/2" ID silicone hose into the two 1/2" male NPT wort ports.

• CamA if you use camlock quick disconnects. We also have a couple plate chiller connection kits available that bundle typical parts (including a premium option that adds a digital thermometer to monitor
• BLQD-A if you use that type of quick disconnect.
• Female NPT hose barb - This is the absolute cheapest way to go but not recommended.

On the cooling water side, the unit has 3/4 male garden hose thread (note that this is NOT NPT pipe thread but the very specific American Garden Hose standard). The unit does include a Female to Female adapter for the cold water in so you may thread a garden hose in directly to both the in and out ports. However, this is particularly cumbersome and some form of quick disconnect is very convenient. Hardware store type garden hose QDs will work for a short while but most use gaskets that cannot handle the hot output temperatures. We highly recommend putting our Camlock CamGHA fittings on both ports and using the mating CamGHB and CamGHD for the garden hose connections.
