Style of siphon matters! |

I have a TrueBrew siphon listed as this - Fermtech Regular 5/16" Auto Siphon 24" Length with 8 feet of Tubing, clear, 1 piece (though it came labeled TrueBrew, not Fermtech), and this cap seems the right size but isn't built for the "wings" on the tip of the siphon. That means it does not fit, because this tip has little "teeth" inside that are made to grip a different siphon end. I couldn't tell the sizes from the info I could find on my siphon, but more importantly, this detail is missed in all descriptions. Just so folks know, if you have the one with the black tip that has wide wing-like sections, this replacement won't work.
