these made my kettle build easy December 6, 2020 Reviewer: Brad from COVINGTON, WA United States   I used these with the 1.5 TC radius flanges to build my kettles.  Made it an easy job.  Watch Bobby's videos and follow the instructions.  If you're not sure if it's clean enough, it's not.  ask how I know. Great way to add clean secure fittings March 16, 2019 Reviewer: Doug from Chicagoland, IL United States   It takes a little practice to get the solder to pool just right.  But once you figure it out, these fittings are a great way to add ports to any vessel.  They're secure and have no places for junk to hide when cleaning. Great idea for weldless connector replacement August 5, 2018 Reviewer: Terry from Vancouver, WA United States   I recently completed the soldering for this bulkhead using the installation tool & silver solder kit. It was not that difficult, and watching the videos was helpful. I had discovered that the o-ring type weldless fitting I was using did not leak to the outside of my brew kettle, but it did leak behind the o-ring, where wort collected and remained. The soldered fitting is like a sanitary weld so I don't have to worry about that anymore. The silver solder is a lot harder metal than I expected also. I would highly recommend this for any stainless steel connection. Was this review helpful to you?
