Really nice thermowell January 12, 2017 Reviewer: John Anderson from Pasadena, TX United States   These are really nice thermowells, And as always, BH had it shipped fast and well packed.   I've been looking for a bare thermowell  to mount vertically in the top of my HLT/keg ( to avoid putting more holes in the side of my HLT ) but up till I found these, all the ones I found were either way to short and they had the 1/2" mounting welded to them. With this, I just had to pop a small hole in the top dome of my HLT/keg, drop the thermowell in a bit then slide a small silicone o-ring on and then a couple more on the 1/2" or so sticking out to keep it from dropping in. It reaches all the way down past my HERMS coil to the valve. Works like a charm and my temp probe fits perfectly.  Recommended. Would buy again Was this review helpful to you?
