Inline temp readings where you want it September 20, 2020 Reviewer: Rich W. from San Diego, CA United States   This is the best solution for seeing what your wort temp is when coming out of the mashtun for recirculation. I have a ss tee fitting and compression fitting coming off the mashtun valve and going into a herms tube. I also did the same setup to check the temp coming into the mashtun from the herms. This way I can see the temp difference and adjust the herms water to nail my mash temps. Was this review helpful to you?

Regulating temp of counterflow chiller output January 14, 2018 Reviewer: RAC from Minooka, IL United States   I installed this fitting in a tee fitting with a CDN Digital thermometer and attached it to the output side of my CFC. I am able to adjust the flow of both the cold water in and hot wort in to cool the wort to my fermenting temperature exactly.  No leaks at all.  Great transaction from start to finish!
