Don't ruin your cooler. September 26, 2020 Reviewer: Mike from Box Elder, SD United States   ZERO STARS Nipple is pipe thread bushing is not.  Won't seal no matter what you do, grommet inside or out, Teflon tape or not.  Waste of time, money and cooler. Terrible new design.  F-minus.  Made in China. Won't do business here again. BrewHardware.com Response: Yes, the pipe fittings used in the assembly are made in China. You don't want to know what U.S. made fittings cost, if you can find them.  I have installed this cooler sightglass assembly in at least 50 coolers over the years and have not had any leak problems. The female fitting is NPT and the bushing is and undersized thread that needs to be machined that way to ensure it doesn't engage the threads too early. With the gasket inside and a few wraps of thick teflon tape and that should NOT leak. Was this review helpful to you?

Not received yet June 22, 2016 Reviewer: Andrew Bachert from Niskayuna, NY United States   Don't know have not received yet. More than week late of delivery date. So far very disappointed Brewhardware Response: We're very sorry that USPS mishandled your package. For clarity, you selected the cheapest first class postage and USPS will not even bother making excuses for lackluster performance. We shipped the order in less than 24 hours and they apparently misplaced it at a sorting facility for 9 full days. It was then delivered. Luckily this is very rare. If you would have contacted us in a few days, we would have reshipped. In any case, it doesn't seem fair to rate a specific product 1 star due to USPS mishandling of the cheapest postage type.
