perfect part 2 July 13, 2021 Reviewer: David Crowder from Boydton, VA United States   The edge pick up dip tube and the hex nipple were the exact parts I needed to complete my boil kettle. Not For Mounting Ball Valves January 30, 2019 Reviewer: Greg from Palm City, FL United States   Because the threads were undersized, they wouldn't tighten enough to secure the ball valve in the proper position before bottoming out on the hex head. I used tons of teflon to eventually get it fairly tight but over time they all loosened again. As advertised, the finish is good and they do seal fine with enough teflon tape. Just be aware that in an instance where you want to be able to snug the fitting enough to securely orient something like a ball valve, the standard nipple is a much better choice.
