While many beer enthusiasts are still unfamiliar with this tubing technology, it's rapidly becoming the defacto standard beverage AND gas tubing among perfectionists. The liner in this tubing keeps oxygen out better than all the other tubing we're aware of. It also is very inert and doesn't leach plastic flavors into the beer if it sits in there a while. Probably most importantly, it works really well with push-in style fittings such as Duotight brand, but it will also works with other industry names like John Guest and DMfit. One great feature is that it's available in very narrow inside diameters that helps us create balanced draft lines without having to coil up a bunch of extra tubing. This 4mm ID version will pour very controlled pints at 8-12psi with only 5.5 feet of tubing. You can pour at a few less or more psi than that range, but the pour speed will vary as expected.
If you prefer longer lengths, simply order multiples of this 5.5ft length and just leave a comment that you want the tubing in a single length (note that the max length is 39 ft or quantity seven of the 5.5' length).
Features:
- The super slick inner liner is completely flavor neutral. Beer can sit in these lines for days and you can start pouring a pint WITHOUT dumping a single drop.
- The barrier prevents oxygen from ingressing into your lines. Believe it or not, most widely used beverage and gas tubing does NOT stop ambient oxygen from migrating into your kegging system. Quality nerds have even been known to disconnect their lines from kegs in between pours to keep oxygen from migrating into the keg.
- The tubing can make use of the very simple push to fit connectors such as John Guest and DuoTight. This is a major time saver for initial builds and subsequent maintenance.
- Much cheaper than all other so-called premium tubing.
This tubing works with Duotight or any other push in fittings meant for 5/16" or 8mm OD tubing. You can also push the tubing over a 1/4" hose barb if you warm the end with some hot tap water and flare the opening. You can request that we do the flaring here.
