Hose Clamps PDF Print E-mail

clampModel: Clamp - $1.50 +

These hose clamps are of the highest quality we could find. They are all stainless in construction including the band, screw and housing. The plain band extends on the interior to cover the slots on the outer band so that the clamp does NOT damage soft tubing like silicone (known as a lined clamp). The band is 1/2" wide and is adjustable from

9/16" - 1-1/16" (14mm - 27mm) clamping diameter.

Please note: If you use it at smaller diameters, closer to 3/4", you can trim the length of the tail with sheers or wire cutters but please debur the sharp edge for your safety.

These are high quality clamps and that is reflected in the price as compared to the big box store options that will destroy soft tubing due to not having a liner. Many budget clamps also use plain steel screws that will eventually rust. We have good pricing on this particular clamp however and you can price shop if you like by searching for Breeze Industrial model 9410.

You can buy single clamps or a 10 pack to save $3.50. If you find a cheaper price on these, let us know and we'll match it!

Further Commentary: Do you need clamps? They can't hurt. No one has ever had a leak because they put a clamp on. If you're forcing our 1/2" ID silicone tubing over 1/2" NPT male threads as many people suggest as a high flow alternative to barbs, you may not need a clamp due to the stretch of the tubing. However, any connections made on the output side of a pump should have clamps. If someone steps on the hose, it will build enough back pressure to blow the hose off which is a dangerous situation. Anytime you use 1/2" or 5/8" barbs, a clamp is recommended.
